Embracing The Challenge!  Chainzone Supports The World’S Longest Subsea Tunnel.

      Chainzone is the exclusive provider of traffic guidance systems for Norway’s Ryfast Undersea Tunnel. We successfully installed over 2,000 LED traffic signal products that meet the EN12966 standard, contributing to the achievement of this grand project.
      To address safety concerns such as dim lighting and complex road conditions in tunnels, we made specialized design choices, particularly in optical performance. We utilized optical lens design to concentrate light in dim environments, achieving brightness levels up to 8000 nits. This ensures that drivers can clearly see guidance information within their field of vision without glare or light diffusion.
      In 2017, the Norway Ryfast project caught Chainzone’s attention.
      Norway, known as the “Land of a Thousand Islands,” boasts winding mountain roads and intricate subsea tunnels, presenting diverse and complex terrain.
      The project includes Ryfast, one of the world’s longest subsea tunnels, along with surface roads. Coupled with Norway’s harsh and humid climate, the entire project posed escalating challenges.
      In 2018, Chainzone officially entered negotiations for the Norway Ryfast project. The partnership required not only EN12966 certification for products but also a holistic solution designed for intricate road conditions. A pivotal challenge was resolving visibility problems under intense sunlight, given that half of Norway’s land is within the Arctic Circle. Due to latitude reasons, even during the evening, the sunlight remains glaring.
      Through in-depth research and numerous discussions, Chainzone developed an almost perfect customized solution. The solution garnered client approval, leading to the triumph over established European companies and successfully securing the project.
      As of 2020, Chainzone has supplied over 2000 sets of various LED traffic signal products, all meeting EN12966 standards, making it the exclusive equipment supplier for the Ryfast project’s intelligent transportation system.
